CBSE Class X Result 2019 Date: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has refuted all reports taking round in the media about declaration of Class 10 result 2019 today.
The CBSE said Class 10 result 2019 will not be declared today, adding it will announce the date and time of result declaration well in advance.
"There is unconfirmed fake news being circulated on some social media platforms about CBSE class X results being announced today. It is to inform all principals, students, parents and public that CBSE class X results will not be declared today", the CBSE said.
"The board will duly inform the date, time and arrangements to access results, through official communication," it added.
It is a practice for the CBSE to announced at least a day in dvance the date and time of CBSE Class X and XIIth results. However, the CBSE declared the Class 12th result 2019 on Thursday without prior announcement. This is leading to "fake news" claiming that CBSE 10th result will also be declared without any prior notification.
The CBSE has however put to rest all these reports and said CBSE 10th result 2019 declaration will not be a surprise and students will be informed well in advance about the date and time.
The CBSE board exam results are declared on official website cbseresults.nic.in.
According to the CBSE Class Xth Date Sheet 2019, the CBSE Class 10th exam began on February 21, 2019. The last paper was conducted today i.e. Friday March 29, 2019.
The CBSE has conducted CBSE Class 10 board exam 2019 for 18,27,472 students in India and abroad. Out of the total 18 lakh students, 10,70,579 are boys and 7,56,893 are girls. There are also 22 transgender candidates among them. The CBSE Class X exam were held for students from 21,400 CBSE-affiliated schools in India and 225 abroad.
Last year CBSE Class 10 board exam result 2018 was declared on May 29 whereas Class 12 board exam result 2018 was published on May 26, 2018.
