Karnataka CET 2019: The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has released today i.e. Saturday May 25, 2019 on its official website kea.kar.nic.in the result of the candidates who haev appeared for the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET 2019) held in April.
Jeffin Biju tops Engineering and P Mahesh Anand tops Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences. Both are from Sri Chaitanya Techno College, Bangalore.
More than 1.4 lakh candidates attain eligibility for Engineering and Technical courses. For Agriculture, over 1.13 lakh students became eligible.
The Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET 2019) result is declared at a press conference today at 11:00 am. However it will be available to students through kea.kar.nic.in and karresults.nic.in after 12:00 pm, KEA said.
The KEA will also release today KCET 2019 Merit List and names of KCET 2019 toppers list.
The Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET 2019) was held on April 29 and 30, 2019. Kannada Language Test was held on May 01, 2019.
The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) had started receiving through its website kea.kar.nic.in online application for Karnataka Common Entrance Test (Karnataka CET 2019) from February 01, 2019. The last date to apply for KCET 2019 was February 28.
KCET 2019 is a mandatory test for admissions to Medical, Dental, Homeopathy, Ayurveda, Unani, Naturapathy and Yoga, Engineering, B.Sc Agriculture, Sericulture, Forestry, Horticulture, B-Pharma and D-Pharma courses and is applicable only to the students of Karnataka.
In 2018, KCET result was declared on June 02. A total of 1.5 lakh students had cleared KCET 2018. Shridhar Dodamani of Vijayapura secured the 1st rank in Engineering while the 2nd rank holder was Narayan Pai from Dakshina Kannada.
The common entrance test cell was established in the year 1994 for conducting entrance tests to determine the merit of the candidates for admission to professional courses such as Medical, Dental, Indian Systems of Medicine and Homoeopathy, Engineering / Technology and Architecture courses, Farm science, B-Pharm, Pharm-D courses.
