Maharashtra SSC Result 2020 Date: Amidst rumours that Maharashtra SSC, Class 10, Class X or Matric result 2020 will be declared on this or that date, School Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad Wednesday said the state plans to declare the result by July end.
The minister also said that Junior College Admission 2020 (FYJC Admission 2020) process will start in August.
"The assessment work and evaluation of answer sheets were delayed because of the Coronavirus lockdown. We started the work in May end and are trying to expedite the proces. We are trying to declare the Class 10 SSC result by the end of July", Gaikwad said while addressing media persons in a virtual press conference.
"Once the SSC results are declared, we hope to complete the junior college admission process in August and start the Class XI academic year thereafter,” she added.
Once declared, Maharashtra SSC result 2020 will be available of official as well as other websites.
Maharashtra School Education Department conducts Junior College Admission (Class 11 or FYJC) Online through a dedicated website. The Online Admission process in Junior Colleges (FYJC) is conducted in Mumbai MMR, Pune, Nagpur, Nashik, Amravati and Aurangabad.
FYJC admission 2020 notification and the dedicated website are expected in July before or soon after the SSC result is declared.
The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) normally declares the SSC Matric result in the first week of June. The board also has a tradition of announcing the date and time of result declaration a day or two in advance.
Maharashtra 12th and 10th exams 2020 were conducted in February and March 2020. While the board was able to complete the whole of 12th HSC exams before the nationwide lockdown was clamped on March 24, it could not conduct the last paper of SSC Class 10 Matric exam.
After a long deliberations considering the worsening Coronavirus situation in Maharashtra, it was decided to cancel the remaining papers of 2020 SSC exam. The marks for the cancelled papers will be calculated based on internal assessment and the scores of a student in other papers.
