Uttar Pradesh Board Class 10th Topper 2020: Riya Jain Bharat Bhushan of Shri Ram SM Inter College Bagpat has topped the Uttar Pradesh board in 2020 High School or Class 10 (UPMSP Class X) exam result of which is declared today.
Ria Jain has secured 96.67 percent marks to secure the 1st position in the 2020 Merit List.
Abhimanyu Verma Ramhut Verma of Shri Sai Inter College Barabanki came 2nd with 95.83% marks and Yogesh Rajendra Pratap Singh of Sadhbhavna Inter College Barabanki came 3rd with 95.33%.
"All toppers will get laptops and cash rewards", Dy CM Dinesh Sharma and UP Education Minister said while declaring the result.
The overall pass percentage of Uttar Pradesh board Class 10 this year is 83.31 percent - an improvement by more than 3% as compared to last year. In 2019, the overall pass percentage was 80.07%.
The UP board 10th results can also be checked on upmsp.edu.in, IndiaResults.com and some other websites.
Along with 10th Matric result, the UP board is also declaring today 12th Intermediate result on its official website.
According to the exam date sheet released by the Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad, Allahabad Uttar Pradesh (UPMSP), the Class 10 (Matric) Class 10 High School Exams in UP began on Februray 18, 2020 and continued till March 03, 2020. On the other hand, UP Board 2020 Class 12 Inter Exam were held between February 09 to March 06, 2020.
A total of 56 lakh candidates had registered for the 2020 board exams. Of them about 30 lakh registered for Class X exam whereas over 26 lakh students registered for Class XII exam.
In 2017, UP board results were declared on June 09. In 2016 and 2015, the Lucknow board results were declared in the month of May. However, in 2018, the Uttar Pradesh result of both 10th and 12th were declared on April 29, 2019 and in 2019 UP Lucknow board results were declared on April 30.
Gautam Raghuvanshi topped the Uttar Pradesh board in 2019 High School or Class 10 (UPMSP Class X) exam. Gautam Raghuvanshi had secured 97.17 percent marks to secure the 1st position in the 2019 Merit List.
Shivam Bharat Lal came 2nd with 97.00% marks and Tanuja Vishwakarma bagged the 3rd position with 96.83% marks. Zainab Mohd Vakeel shared the 9th rank in the merit list with Priyanshu Gupta and Divyani Singh. All three scored 94.50% marks.
The overall pass percentage of Uttar Pradesh board Class 10 in 2019 was 80.07 - an improvement by more than 05% as compared to last year. In 2018, the overall pass percentage was 75.16%.
