MAH MCA CET 2020 Postponed: The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra State has postponed and rescheduled the MAH MCA CET 2020 exams in the wake of Coronavirus outbreak.
"MAH-MCA-CET 2020 will be rescheduled on 30th April 2020, detailed Circular will be displayed shortly", the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra State said in a single line message posted on its official website.
According to the CET Cell Maharashtra, MAH MCA CET 2020 was scheduled to be held on March 28, 2020 in Online Mode i.e Computer Based Test (CBT). The Maharashtra Cell had issued MAH MCA Hall Ticket/Admit Card on March 15, 2020.
The MAH MCA CET 2020 exam however now stands postponed. A fresh schedule and new dates will be published soon, the Maharashtra CET cell said.
The education ministry had on Wednesday asked the Central Board of Secondary Educationt (CBSE) and all educational institutions in the country to postpone exams till March 31 in view of the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.
"While maintenance of academic calendar and exam schedule is important, equally important is safety and security of students who are appearing in various examinations as also of their teachers and parents," HRD secretary Amit Khare said in an official communication.
Following the advisory, the Class 12th and Class 10th exams conducted by the CBSE and JEE Main April 2020 exams are also postponed. The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra State had earlier postponed MHT CET 2020.
MCA CET 2020 in Maharashtra is conducted for admission to First Year/Direct Second Year (Separate Division & Lateral Entry) of Three- year full time Post Graduate Degree course in Master of Computer Applications (MCA) in the Government, Govt. Aided, University Managed, University Departments and Unaided Institutes in the Maharashtra State.
Online Application form filling starts on: January 15 to 22nd February 2020. Online fee payment: January 15 to 22nd February 2020. Issue of Hall Ticket (through Candidate login) : March 15, 2020 onwards. Date for printing your application: January 15 to March 03, 2020. Date of Online Exam of MAH MCA CET 2020 : Rescheduled on April 30, 2020. Declaration of MAH MCA CET 2020 Result : Notified later
