Karnataka CET 2020: Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has identified 75 new exam centres where KCET 2020 will be held. Accordingly, it has asked students to change and edit, if they wish to, the name and place of exam centre of their choice.
In an official notification the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) said it has decided to add 75 new exam centres to facilitate the students in the wake of coronavirus epidemic and the lockdown.
The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) is also giving the students appearing for KCET 2020 to edit their application.
"The link to edit KCET exam centre name and application will open at 06:00 pm today i.e. May 20, 2020. The interested candidates can change the exam centre and edit their application till 06:00 pm on May 22, 2020", the KEA said.
"Candidates can enter three examination places of their choice in the order of priority. Examination place will be allotted basedon the priority of examination place and availability", the KEA said.
KCET 2020 was earlier scheduled to be held on April 22 and 23, 2020 and Kannada Language Test was scheduled on April 24. Both the exams have now been postponed till further order.
Both the exams were however postponed due to Coronavirus lockdown. The KEA later rescheduled KCET 2020 and has decided to hold it on July 30 and 31, 2020. Kannada Language Test will be held on August 01, 2020.
As per Karnataka CET 2020 Notification, Karnataka CET 2020 Admit Card/Hall Ticket was supposed to be released on April 04, 2020. The release of KCET 2020 Admit Card has been deferred till further order.
KCET 2020 will be held for admission to the First year or first semester Engineering, Technology, Yoga & Naturopathy, Farm Science and other courses, according to the KCET 2020 notification.
The last date to apply for Karnataka CET 2020 was earlier fixed as March 02. It was however extended till March 16, 2020.
