San Francisco: Tech giant Microsoft has announced availability of Microsoft Copilot, earlier Bing Chat, for iOS and iPadOS.
Microsoft Copilot was made available for Android users four days ago.
While iOS and iPadOS users can download Microsoft Copilot from Apple App Store, Android OS users can go to Google Play Store so as to power their smartphone for Microsoft latest AI app.
Copilot in Windows - formerly Bing Chat and Bing Chat Enterprise, is an AI-powered intelligent assistant that helps users get answers and inspirations from across the web, supports creativity and collaboration, and helps them focus on the task at hand.
Copilot offers access to powerful AI models such as GPT-4 and up-to-date information with cited sources, according to the company.
The Artificial Intelligence (AI) app Copilot combines natural language with linguistic models, data, and Microsoft Graph to improve employee productivity using everyday applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, or PowerPoint.
As the name suggests, Copilot is like an assistant, who helps you work to improve your performance or get you out of the most monotonous tasks. At the same time, you remain pilot i.e. you control the business operations.
Copilot has been developed in collaboration with GitHub and OpenAI, whose GPT-4 language technology is integrated into the tool.
Originally launched for devices running Windows 11, Microsoft later allowed Windows 10 users also to try the Copilot.
