Haj 2024 Second Instalment of Balance Amount: The Haj Committee of India Saturday asked the selected pilgrims to make the Second Instalment of Balance Haj Amount Payment (First Instalmeent of Rs 170,000) till March 10, 2024.

“Each provisionally selected pilgrims are required to deposit the Second Instalment of Balance Haj Amount of Rs 1,70,000 per pilgrim”, the Haj Committee of India said in a notification.

The pilgrims will be able to make the Haj amount payment from Saturday Feb 24, 2024. The last date is March 10, 2024.

“The amount is to be deposited during the period 24th Feb 2024 to 10th March 2024”, the Haj Committee said.

Mode of Payment

The Haj Committee of India said the Haj amount can be paid via Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking or UPI.

"The Unique Bank Reference Number provided to each cover must be mentioned in the Deposit Receipt", the Haj Committee said.

Steps to make Haj 2024 Amount

Payments can be made either:

1. Online Mode through Haj Committee of India website here: hajcommittee.gov.in.
2. Directly to Haj Committee of India account No. 35398104789
maintained with SBI; or account No. 318702010406010 (Haj Account) maintained with Union Bank of India through any branch of SBl/UBI having core Banking System.
3. By cheque of any branch of SBI/UBI in the respective Bank.
4. Pilgrims can also make payment using Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking or UPI

How to check Unique Bank Reference Number

Selected pilgrims whose names figured in the final list drawn after the Qurrah can check Unique Bank Reference Number by following the steps given below:

1. Go to Haj Committee of India website hajcommittee.gov.in.
2. Enter your Cover No in the box. Your Cover No should start with your state code.
3. Click on the Down Arraow from 'Select State' menu and select your state.
4. Enter Passport No in the box.
5. Click on "Load" button.
6. All relevant details along with Unique Bank Reference Number will appear on the computer or mobile phone screen.

Third Instalment of Haj Amount

The Haj Committee of India further said that the 3rd instalment of Balance Hajj Amount will be decided taking into consideration the finalization of Airfare amount and expenses in Saudi Arabia.

"Third instalment of Balance Haj Amount will be determined by taking into consideration the finalization of Airfare Amount and expenses to be incurred in Saudi Arabia and will be intimated shortly”, the Haj Committee said.

"The details of probable expenditure for Haj 2024 in respect of each pilgrim for the respective embarkation points will also be displayed on the Haj Committee of India official website”, it added.

Hajj 2024 Flight Schedule

The Haj Committee of India (HCoI) had earlier also released Haj policy 2024 (Action Plan for Hajj 2024), listing a total of 25 embarkation points namely: Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Kolkata, Srinagar, Ranchi, Gaya, Guwahati, Indore, Bhopal, Mangalore, Goa, Aurangabad, Varanasi, Jaipur, Nagpur, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Cochin, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Kannur, Vijayawada, Agartala and Calicut.

According to Hajj 2024 Action Plan, the first Hajj flight from India will be on May 05, 2024. The Last Hajj departure flight will be on June 10, 2024. Core Hajj duration will be from June 14 to 19, 2024.

First return Hajj flight from Saudi Arabia to India will be on June 20, 2024 and the last inbound and return flight will be on July 21, 2024.

The Haj Committee of India had earlier asked the provisionally selected pilgrim to pay the First Instalment or Advance Haj Amount of Rs 81,800/- till Feb 15, 2024.

The Haj Committee of India has released the Waiting List of pilgrim for the Hajj 2024 after the provisionally selected pilgrims could not for any reason pay the Advance Haj Amount.

The Haj Committee of India had started receiving through its website hajcommittee.gov.in from December 04, 2023 Hajj Application Form (HAF) of the pilgrims who wished to embark on Hajj 2024 (Haj 1445 AH).

The last date of application was originally fixed as December 20, 2023. It was however extended till January 15, 2024, and then till 12:00 pm on January 16, 2024 in the last minute because of technical glitches in the computer server.
