UPSC Civil Services Exams 2024: ‘PadhAI’ app is trending after it cracked the UPSC Preliminary Exams 2024 in just seven minutes and scoring more than the qualifying marks.
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) held the Civil Services Prelims on Sunday June 16, 2024. Though the UPSC has not released official data regarding number of candidates, it is estimated that more than 13 lakh civil services aspirants from different states of India appeared in the exam.
Even as the candidates who appeared in the exams ascertain their chances using answer keys released by coaching centres, PadhAI app cracked the UPSC Prelims within 7 minutes and scoring 170 marks out of the possible total 200.
PadhAI app score of 170 is more than enough for a candidate to qualify the UPSC Civil Services Main Exam.
Different Artificial Intelligence (AI) apps are making wave ever since Microsoft backed OpenAI launched ChatGPT in January 2023.
The ChatGPT app cracked various competitive exams, including US Medical Licensing Exam that takes years of training. The popular AI app however failed to crack the UPSC Civil Services exam.
The UPSC Civil Services exams are considered one of the toughest in the world.
The UPSC IAS Written Exams (Prelims) is conducted in two sessions – General Studies (GS) and Civil Services Aptitude Test (CSAT).
The Prelim exam is followed by Civil Services Main exam. As per the original schedule, UPSC Civil Services (Main) Examination 2024 will be held in 5 days starting from Friday September 20, 2024.
