Kashmir: Cracking The Narratives of Propagandists

The narrative in Kashmir keeps changing and the people in the Valley keep endorsing and rejecting the narrative. The people have always been “victim” of the narrative.

The propagandists sometimes call the Kashmiris “radical”, “extremist”, “terrorist”, “terror sympathizer” and much more. But it hardly makes any difference to the people of Kashmir because their sufferings make them ignore all the narratives set on them or in their name.

All these narratives have benefited a single party. It doesn’t make any difference to that party accepts it or rejects it. This has given them luxuries in all spheres of life. They always beat chest about being victims but the common people have always seen them as benefiters of the narrative.

They are now trying to wash off their 1987 rigging by saying, “How is it justified to pick up gun after losing elections. We also have lost elections. Does that mean we will also pick up guns?”

These people should know that losing elections and making someone loose election is a complete different thing.

So acting a victim won’t wash off their crimes.

Let’s ask those this question who label us “terrorists” or “terror sympathizer”. If we common Kashmiris are responsible for “gun culture”, then how do you defend young men's league and plebiscite front?

And if you say it all began after the election rigging of 1987 then how do you defend the Al Fatah of 1965?

Furthermore, if you say Yusuf Shah lost elections and only then became Syed Salahudin then what do you say about Amanullah Khan, Yasin malik and Mushtaq Ahmad Zargar.

What made them join the armed struggle?

Beating the chest of being “victim” won’t make any difference while as we all know how much you have been benefitted from the narrative and tagging that you have always been doing.

How can you get away from being responsible for filling up the graveyards? If not you then who? We the common Kashmiris?

No, it has been you and yes we will hold you accountable for what you have done to each and every household of Kashmir.

Your propaganda against the people of Kashmir has now become very clear and people, especially the young generation, is very much known to your anti-Kashmir policies for the sake of power.

From breeding murderous Ikhwanis like Kukka Parray and Papa Kishtiwara to promoting fake encounters and to getting people hanged, you guys have done it all.

And, now today you want not to be held accountable. Which is next to impossible. People will always see you as the gang who made us suffer for personal luxuries and power.

Having been served as minister at the Centre while Muslims were being butchered and still expect us to see you as a “ray of hope” is next to impossible.

Expelling your party MP for not supporting the one you wanted him to support just because you can continue as minister speaks volumes about you and you egoistic behaviour.

How unfortunate and disheartening it is to see behaving like an immature kid and tagging someone who won after fighting elections under the Constitution of India shows how much has the defeat saddened you that you had to come to social media and show your anger.

It is high time to accept that all the graveyards are full because of your lust for power. Unmarked graves are still hiding a lot of your misdeeds. Refusing help from UK based organization to study the unmarked graves speaks volumes about how much you are afraid of truth coming out in public.

But remember, “Truth can’t be hidden for long time”. Truth will come out one day or the other day. So will your misdeeds.
