KV Admission Schedule 2024: The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) has published on its official website kvsangathan.nic.in the admission schedule for KV admission in Class 1 and above for the academic year 2024-2025.
According to the KV Admission 2024, online registration and application process for admission in Kendriya Vidyalaya Class I for the academic year 2024-25 session will start through official website 'kvsonlineadmission.kvs.gov.in' from today i.e. Monday April 01, 2024.
The last date to apply is April 15, 2024.
"Online Registration for Admission to Class I in Kendriya Vidyalaya for the Academic Year 2024-25 is commencing from April 01 at 08:00 AM and will continue till April 15, 2024 up to 05:00 PM", the KVS Admission Notice released by the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) said.
Offline registration and application process for KVS Admission in Class II and above (except Class XI) will also begin on April 01, 2024, the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) said.
"Admission for Class II and above (except Class XI), subject to availability of seats, will start on 01.04.2024 and end on 10.04.2024", KVS admission notification 2023-24 added.
KVS first admission list will be published on April 19, 2024 and if seats remain vacant, second and third lists will be announced on April 29 and May 8, 2024.
Students and their wards should note that a 2nd notification for Class 1 admission will be issued on May 7, 2024 if the seats remain vacant. In such a case fresh registration will be deone from May 08 to 15, 2024.
Registrations for Balvatika levels 1, 2, and 3 will be conducted from April 01, 2024. But the admission process will be in offline mode.
Candidates should note that admission in Class XI (Class 11) will start ten days after the declaration of Class 10 result 2024 by the CBSE.
The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) has for this year launched a new admision portal. The trial of the new KV admission portal was run in the month of February.
The Kendriya Vidyalayas, currently about 1254 across India, were established with the primary aim to cater to the educational needs of the children of transferable Central Government employees including Defence and Para-Military personnel by providing a common programme of education, to pursue excellence and set pace in the field of school education and to initiate and promote experimentation and innovativeness in education in collaboration with other bodies like the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT).
