              Deoband:
Darul Uloom's incumbent Vice-Chancellor Maulana Ghulam Mohammed
Vastanvi today said that he will whole heartedly accept the
decision of Majlis-e-Shura whatever it may be.

"I will accept the findings of the three-member committee and also
the decision based on that by the Majlis-e-Shura," Vastanvi said.

The situation in the seminary has improved now and there is no
controversy here anymore, he said, adding he will will continue to
work for the betterment of the seminary.

The Majlis-e-Shura or the governing council of Darul Uloom had on
February 23 appointed a three-member committee to look into
allegations against Vastanvi and all other issues concerning both
inside and and outside the seminary.

The moderate Maulana, had triggered a controversy soon after his
appointment with his remarks praising Gujarat Chief Minister
Narendra Modi's rule and his development policy.
