Turkey quake toll rises to 32

Ankara: The toll in
the 5.6-magnitude earthquake that hit Turkey's eastern province
Wednesday has increased to 32, the country's disaster and
emergency management directorate said Saturday.
Some 25 buildings, including two hotels, collapsed in the quake,
Xinhua reported.
As per the directorate, at least 32 people died and 30 injured in
the quake that hit Turkey's Van province.
According to Turkey's Kandilli Observatory and Earthquake Research
Institute, the earthquake hit the town of Edremit, 20 km southwest
of Van' s city centre, at 9.23 p.m. Wednesday (Nov 9).
