Hyderabad: Andhra Pradesh State Haj Committee and Telangana State Haj Committee on Saturday announced the Haj flight schedule for the 2016 Haj pilgrimage according to which the first flight carrying the Hajis from the two states will take off on August 21.
"The last flight will take off on August 28", the statement issued by the two Haj Committees said.
All the flights will take off from the Hyderabad Embarkation Point, the statement added.
"Hajj pilgrims from Hyderabad Embarkation Point will start leaving for Jeddah in the second phase of Haj Operations sarting from August 21 to 28 with two flights of 340 capacity every day. There will be only one flight on the last day of the Haj Camp i.e. 28 th August, 2016", the statement said.
"Pilgrims will start returning back from 4th October till 11th October after performing Haj rituals and visiting Madeena al Munnawara", it added.
The Haj Camp will commence from 19th August when the pilgrims of the first flight will leave Hyderabad Embarkation Point - Haj Flight report.
All arrangements will be made under one roof at the Haj House, Nampally, Hyderabad, for safe departure of pilgrims. All the flights from Hyderabad will leave for Jeddah and in return journey they will take off from Madeenah .
Hyderabad Embarkation point covers Andhra Pradesh (Adilabad,Cuddapah,East Godavari, Guntur, Hyderabad, Karim Nagar, Khammam, Krishna Kurnool, Mahabub Nagar, Medak, Nal Gonda, Nellore, Nizamabad, Patan Chiru, Prakkasam, Rangareddi, Sangareddy Secunderabad, Srikakulam, Vishakahaptnam,Vizinagaram, Warnagal & West Godavari) and Bidar, Gulbarga, Raichur & Yadir District of Karnataka State.
Uttar Pradesh, Kerala and Jammu & Kashmir are the three other states that have so far announced their final Haj flight schedule. According to the final schedules announced by them, first Haj flight from Uttar Pradesh will take off from Lucknow and Jammu & Kashmir on August 10 whereas first flight from Kerala will take off on August 22.
