ISC Class 12th Result 2019: Dewang Kumar Agarwal of Kolkata and Vibha Swaminathan of Bengaluru have secured the top position in ISC Class 12 examination 2019, result of which was declared today afternoon. Both have scored 100% marks.
Dewang Kumar Agarwal of La Martiniere for Boys, Kolkata is a student of Science stream whereas Vibha Swaminathan a student of of Mallya Aditi International School, Bengaluru is of Humanities.
A total of 16 students bagged the 2nd position by scoring 99.75% and 36 students shared the 3rd rank by getting 99.50% marls, the council said.
The Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has declared on its official website cisce.org the results of the Indian School Certificate (ISC) Class XII (Class 12th ) 2019 exams today on Tuesday May 07, 2019.
The overall pass percentage in ISC 12th 2019 exam is 96.52%. This is up by 0.31% as compared to the last year, the council said.
The results of Class 12th ISC 2019 is available through Careers Portal of the Council, on the website of the council and also through SMS.
The ISC 2019 results will also be available via SMS. To receive the Indian School Certificate (ISC) Class 12 results by SMS, the candidate will require to type ISC followed by their seven digit unique ID code and send the message to 09248082883.
This year, the ISC 2019 exams began from February 04 and ended on Marhc 25, 2019.
The council said ISC students will have to score 35% marks instead of 40% to be declared successful. The change in the passing marks for ISC Class 12th exam will be effective from this year and not from 2019 as communicated by the board earlier.
In 2018, ISC 12th result was declared on May 14. A total of 80,880 students from Indian and abroad had appeared for the ISC 2018 examination. Of them 96.21% cleared the examination successfully in 2018 ISC exam.
The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has been so constituted as to secure suitable representation of: Government of India, State Governments/Union Territories in which there are Schools affiliated to the Council, the Inter-State Board for Anglo-Indian Education, the Association of Indian Universities, the Association of Heads of Anglo-Indian Schools, the Indian Public Schools' Conference, the Association of Schools for the ISC Examination and members co-opted by the Executive Committee of the Council.
