ISC, ICSE Compartmental Exam 2019: The Council for Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has decided to introduce from the year 2019 Compartment exams for ISC Class 12th and ICSE Class X students who failed in the regular exams.
The CISCE Chairman while releasing the ISC and ICSE 2019 results Tuesday said that the CISCE has decided to introduce the ISC and ICSE Compartmental exams to save the year of the students who were unsuccessful in the regular exam.
"In the marksheet of such students who fulfill the needed criteria for the ICSE and ISC Compartment exams it will be written that she or he is eligible for the second chance", he said.
Students in whose marksheet it is mentioned that they are eligible to appear for the compartment exams can register online through their schools from 24th to 30th June 2019.
The Compartmental exam, also called as repeater exam, for ISC Class 12th and ICSE Class 10 students both will be held on 15th, 16th and 17th of July 2019.
"The result of ISC and ICSE Compartment exams will be declared on August 05, 2019", CISCE Chairman said.
The overall pass percentage in ICSE Class X 2019 exam is 98.54%. The overall pass percentage of ISC Class 12th 2019 exam is 96.52%.
Two students have topped in both ISC and ICSE 2019 exams. 16 students got the 2nd rank in ISC Class 12 exam whereas in ICSE 2019 exams 10 students bagged the 2nd position.
In ISC 3rd position is shared by a total of 36 students and in ICSE Class 10 the 3rd rank is jointly secured by 24 students.
