Karnataka CET 2020 Postponed

Karnataka CET (KCET) 2020 Postponed: Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has postponed the Karnataka Common Entrance Test 2020 (Karnataka CET 2020) and Kannada Language Test scheduled to be held in April, as per the latest news.

KCET 2020 was earlier scheduled to be held on April 22 and 23, 2020 and Kannada Language Test was scheduled on April 24. Both the exams have now been postponed till further order.

"In order to take precautionary steps tp avoid spread of Novel Corona Virus (COVID-19) pandemic in the state, Common Entrance Test-2020 scheduled to be held on 22-04-2020 and 23-04-2020 and Kannada Language Test on 24-04-2020, have been postponed", the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) said in a notification issued on March 31.

Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) further said the new date and time of KCET 2020 has not been yet decided. Announcement by appropriate means will be made whenever the new date is finalised.

"In due course, revised Time Table for CET 2020 will be published on the KEA official website kea.kar.nic.in and also in newspaper", it said.

Karnataka CET 2020 Admit Card

As per Karnataka CET 2020 Notification, Karnataka CET 2020 Admit Card/Hall Ticket was supposed to be released on April 04, 2020. The release of KCET 2020 Admit Card has also been deferred till further order.

KCET 2020 will be held for admission to the First year or first semester Engineering, Technology, Yoga & Naturopathy, Farm Science and other courses, according to the KCET 2020 notification.

The last date to apply for Karnataka CET 2020 was earlier fixed as March 02. It was however now extended till March 16, 2020.
