FYJC Admission 2020: The Online Admission Process for First Year Junior College (FYJC) Class 11 for the year 2020 has started with the colleges in Mumbai, Pune, Nagpur and other cities of Maharashtra filling their details and available seats.
According to the latest update, the Maharashtra School Education Department has asked all colleges in Mumbai MMR, Pune, Nagpur, Nashik, Aurangabad and Amravati to complete registration, details of available seats, medium of instruction and other important details on the FYJC website.
Online admission in Class 11 or First Year Junior College (FYJC) normally starts in the month of June after the declaration of Maharashtra SSC Class 10 result.
This year FYJC Admission Process 2020 is delayed because of the Coronavirus pandemic and the consequent lockdown and restrictions imposed in the state and other parts of India.
Education Minister arsha Gaikwad has earlier said that Maharashtra SSC result 2020 will be declared by July end. "The education expects to complete the junior college admission process in August and start the Class XI academic year thereafter", she said.
As per the latest news, the Maharashtra School Education Department now plans to start FYJC student registration from July 15, 2020.
The first step for FYJC 11th Admission is filling of the Part 1 form. According to Dinkar Patil, Director of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, Part One form filling will start from July 15, 2020.
FYJC Part One involves basic and personal details of students and preference list of colleges. Interested students will need to go to the FYJC 2020 website to fill the Part One form. Part One Form can be filled before the declaration of Class 10 Matric result.
Students should note that if they are residing in Mumbai MMR Region, Pune, Nagpur, Nashik, Aurangabad and Amravati then the admission to the First Year Junior College (FYJC) in these cities will be done only through the online admission portals.

Students should note that they need to get FYJC Admission Form Part 1 approved from the respective schools to proceed further. The government may issue separate guidelines for approval in the wake of lockdown.
Students should also note that FYJC Part 2 Form filling will start after the declaration of SSC result.
