BSEB Bihar Class 10 Result 2020 Date: The result of Class 10 (Class X Matric Secondary School) 2020 exams conducted by the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) supposed to be declared by the end of March is in all probabilty delayed due to Coronavirus outbreak in India and abroad.
BSEB Secretray Anand Kishor had earlier said the results of Class 10 Matric and Class 12 Inter exams 2020 conducted by the Bihar board will be declared in the last week of March. Accordingly, the BSEB declared Bihar board Class 12 Inter result on March 24.
Kishor now however said that the evaluation of Class 10 Answer Sheets has been stopped on Wednesday when the 21-day nationwide lockdown was clamped in the entire country to contain the Covid-19 outbreak.
"Evaluation of only 75% of the total answer books was completed by Tuesday. Hence there is no chance of declaring the result in the month of March", he said.
Kishor also said the assessment of the remaining answer sheets will resume only after April 14.
"It will be then only we will be able to say when the Class 10 Secondary result will be declared", he said.
The Bihar board was the first board in India to declare the Class 10 and Class 12th result in 2019. The board also declared the Class 12th result 2020 before any other board in the country.
In 2019, the Bihar board had declared the Class 10 Matric result on April 6 whereas the Class 12th result in 2019 was declared on March 30.
Once declared the students will be able to chech the BSEB Class 10 result 2020 on the official websites biharboardonline.bihar.gov.in OR bsebssresult.com, and also on bihar.indiaresults.com. The result can also be checked via SMS.
