iOS 17.2.1 bug fixes fail to resolve issues, iPhone users wary

Mumbai: Apple recently released iOS 17.2.1 with major update to fix issues facing iPhones. The latest iOS updates however failed to resolve all the issues the iPhone users are facing leaving them wary and helpless.

Apple iPhone users in multiple reports claimed facing connectivity issues after installing iOS 17.2.1.

The reports said while the new iOS updates fixed a significant battery drain issue, iPhone users are complaining about connectivity issues and said they are not able to connect to their wireless network providers after installing iOS 17.2.1.

The connectivity issue appears to be affecting several iPhone models at the same time. Apple is yet to acknowledge or issue a fix.

"After updating my iPhone last night to iOS 17.2.1, I can no longer connect to my network provider. Tried the resets, and still does not work! Vert frustrating. Trusted Apple and iPhone for years, now not so sure", an iPhone user wrote on Apple's Support Community Discussions via BGR.

Some users are also complaining overheating after the iOS 17.2.1 update installation, an older issue which is something a previous update promised to fix.

Notably, iOS 17 featured a boatload of bugs at launch, and Apple is still working to fix them almost three months after the initial release. The company even stopped working on next year's iOS 18 update for a while to fix these existing issues.
