CSIR UGC NET June 2025 Registration Starts, Last Date June 23

CSIR NTA UGC NET June 2025 Registration: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has started Online Registration for CSIR UGC NET June 2025 through the official website csirnet.nta.ac.in.

Candidates appearing for NTA UGC NET June 2025 should note that the registration started on June 03, 2025. The last date of application is June 23, 2025.

According to the NTA Schedule, CSIR UGC NET June 2025 will be held on July 26, 27 and 28, 2025.

Steps for CSIR UGC NET December 2025 Online Registration

  • Go to the official website: "csirhrdg.res.in".
  • Click on the link marked for CSIR UGC NET Online Registration.
  • Fill the necessary details and complete the application form.
  • Pay the exam fees and take a printout.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) had on June 03, 2025 announced the schedule of CSIR UGC National Eligibility Test (CSIR UGC NET) 2025 to be held in the month of July. Candidates should note that CSIR NTA UGC NET June 2025 will be held only in Online Mode.

CSIR UGC NET June 2025 Important Dates

  • Examination: CSIR UGC-National Eligibility Test(UGC-NET) - June 2025
  • Mode of Examination: Computer Based Examination
  • Registration Dates: June 03 to 23, 2025
  • Downloading of Admit Cards: Will be notified later
  • Dates of Examinations: July 26, 27 and 28, 2025
  • Date of Announcing Result: Will be notified later

Upper Age Limit & Relaxation

Maximum 28 years as on 01-01-2025 for JRF(NET) {upper age limit is relaxable up to 5 years for SC/ST/Persons with Disability(PwD)/female applicants and 03 years for OBC (non creamy layer) applicants}. No upper age limit for Lectureship (NET).

The award of Junior Research Fellowship to the successful eligible candidates will depend on their finding admission/placement in a University/ National laboratory/ Institution of higher learning and research, as applicable.

Essential Qualification

M.Sc or equivalent degree/ Integrated BS-MS/BS-4 years/BE/BTech/BPharma/MBBS with at least 55% marks for General (UR) and OBC candidates and 50% for SC/ST, Persons with Disability (PwD) candidates.

CSIR and UGC provide Research Fellowships for training in methods of research under expert guidance of faculty members/scientists working in University Department/ National Laboratories and Institutions in various fields of Science.

Joint CSIR-UGC NET Fellowship programme is aimed at National Science & Technology Human Resource Development. A large number of JRFs are awarded each year by CSIR to candidates after qualifying the Test conducted by it.
