UPSC Civil Services Prelims Result 2025: Two civil services aspirants from Malegaon have cleared the UPSC CSE Prelims 2025 the result of which was declared Thursday.
More than 10 lakh candidates had appeared for the Civil Services Prelims (Written) 2025 exams held in two sessions in pen and paper mode on May 25, 2025.
The Union Public Service Commission Thursday June 12, 2025 published the list of 14,161 candidates who have passed the Civil Services Preliminary Exams held this year.
Among them 02 are from Malegaon, the North Maharashtra City famous for its textile produce.
The two, along with the remaining 14,159, candidates, are now gearing up for the Civil Services Main Exam 2025.
In order to focus on the UPSC CSE Main 2025 exam, the two have requested ummid.com not to reveal their identity.
There was one more student from Malegaon who is preparing for the Civil Services and appeared for the Prelim exams. Unfortunately, he could not make it to the list of successful candidates.

Malegaon a city of around 10 lakh has so far sent just two Civil Servants.
One of them is Qaisar Abdul Haque (IAS). Qaisar cleared the UPSC Civil Services exams in 2006, and is currently posted in Chhattisgarh.
The other IAS officer who is the native of Malegaon is Bhagyashree Dilip Vispute. Bhagyashree Dilip Vispute (IAS) has two weeks ago taken charge as Dhule District Collector.
The candidates who have cleared the Prelims are now eligible to appear in the UPSC CSE Main Exam 2025.
As per the Civil Services 2025 Exam, the CSE Main exam will be held in 5 days starting from August 22, 2025.
The UPSC has confirmed the start date of the CSE Mains 2025 exam. Paper-wise time table will be released after the CSE Prelims result.
The candidates who clear the CSE Main 2025 exam will be required to appear in Personal Test or Personal Interview.
The candidates clearing all the three stages of the Civil Services exam will be eligible to be posted as IAS, IPS, IFS, IRS and other top civil services posts.
