Karnataka NEET UG 2026 Counselling: Candidates seeking admission in Medical and Dental courses through Karnataka NEET UG 2026 (UGNEET 2026) Counselling should note that the link to download verification slip and option entry are now available on the website.
The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) had earlier completed the document verification of the students who have registered for Karnataka UG NEET 2026 Counseling underway for admission in Medical (MBBS) and Dental (BDS) courses from August 04 to 08, 2026.
Karnataka UGNEET 2026 Verification Slip
Candidates participating in Karnataka Medical Counseling should note that they will need to download the verification slip from the official website to participate in the UGNEET Counselling.
As per the UGNEET 2026 Document Verification Schedule, the process was done based on NEET UG 2026 rank of the candidates. The date fixed for document verification was from August 04 to 08, 2026.
To download the verification slip, candidates are advised to visit the official website and click on the link marked as "UGNEET-2026 Verificaton Slip Download link 05/08/2026" under the latest announcement section of the home page.
On the next page, enter the Application Number, Password, Captcha Code and click on log in using face recognition or OTP to proceed. Click on the given link to download and take print of the verification slip.
Karnataka UGNEET 2026 Option Entry
The Karnataka Examination Authority had earlier published UGNEET 2026 Option Entry guide. The KEA has now made available the option and choice submission link on its official website "cetonline.karnataka.gov.in".
Candidates should note that h/she will be allowed the Option Entry only if his/her name is appeared in the Eligible Candidates list.
Candidates are also advised to refer the Karnataka UGNEET 2026 Seat Matrix published on the official website before proceeding for option and choice filling.
Candidates should note that Option Entry started on August 07. The last date is August 13, 2026 till 09:00 AM. During this period candidates can add, modify, edit, delete or re-order their options using the given link.
Steps for KCET 2026 Option Entry
- Go to the official website: "cetonline.karnataka.gov.in".
- Click on the link marked as "UGNEET/UGCET 2026 First Round Option Entry Link 07/08/2026" under the Latest Announcements area of the home page.
- Enter CET Number and Type the Captcha text as shown in the box.
- Click on Submit and complete the Option Entry.
Karnataka UGNEET 2026 Allotment
Candidates should note that MBBS and BDS Seat Allotment for first round (Round 1) and UGCET 2026 second round (Round 2) in Karnataka will be done based on the option, choice and preference submitted by the candidates. Hence, candidates are advised to carefully read the seat matrix before filling option form.
As per the KEA UGNEET 2026 First Round / UGCET 2026 Second Round Allotment schedule, the result will be released on August 19, 2026.
The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) had published on July 15, 2026 UGCET 2026 first round allotment result for admission in Engineering, Architecture, Pharmacy, Agriculture and other courses.
The KEA said the candidates participating in UGCET 2026 can opt for choice 1 or choice 4 after the second round seat allotment results.
“Choice 2 or Choice 3 options is not available for UGCET 2026 candidates”, the KEA said.
The candidates who are allotted seat in UGCET 2026 First Round can surrrender their seat on or before 11:00 AM August 13, 2026. "Peanlty will be applicable as per rules", the KEA said.
