New Delhi: The 31st South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) Festival of Literature entered its second day today.
The day witnessed delegates from countries like Bangladesh participating in reading sessions.
An evening of Sufi music is also a part of the day's schedule.
Yesterday, the Foundation of SAARC Writers and Literature honoured eminent names with SAARC awards and Pakistani journalist Hamid Mir, Nepali playwright Abhi Subedi, journalist Mark Tully and poet-lyricist Gulzar, among others, were present on the occasion.
The festival is a congregation of writers and intellectuals, artists and environmentalists, academicians and mediapersons, visual artists, folklorists and historians from countries like Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, the Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. The festival will conclude on March 29th when the participating writers will interact with University students.
