
Gorakhpur: A charred body, tied with seat belt inside a burnt car, was discovered near Tenua Toll Plaza at Sahjanwa in Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s home constituency Gorakhpur, local media reported Sunday.
"Several senior police officials have reached the spot and the body has been sent for the postmortem. The initial investigations suggest that the man was tied inside a car with number UP 53 CJ 9938, which was gutted to flames", newstrack reported.
Police suspected that the man was burnt alive by some unknown assailants. Police official further said that the body was in a very bad condition and it was yet to be identified.
It was found after the initial probe that the Baleno Zeta (DIESEL) car had been registered in the name of Vishnu Kumar Agrahari.
Sahjanwa is industrial area of Gorakhpur in the state of Uttar Pradesh. It is a fast developing industrial area having many factories including IGL, Parle and ARP, as well as power looms, plywood and the only jute mill in Uttar Pradesh.
Sahjanwa, also called GIDA, not only an industrial hub but also an educational hub for engineering students, skill development training and industrial training.
