Kendriya Vidyalaya Admission 2019-20: Admission registration for Kendriya Vidyalaya Class II and above (except Class XI) for the academic year 2019-20 is starting from today i.e. Tuesday Apri 02, 2019. The last date to apply is April 09, 2019.
"Online Registration for Admission to Class II onwards in Kendriya Vidyalaya for the Academic Year 2019-20 will commence from 02.04.2019 at 8:00 AM to 09.04.2019 up to 04:00 PM", the KVS Admission Notice released by the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) said.
"The admission will be done solely on availability of vacancies in a particular class", the KVS said.
"For Class XI, application forms will be issued immediately after declaration of Class X results, subject to availability of vacancies in the Vidyalayas", it said.
"Reckoning of age for all classes shall be as on 31.03.2019. Reservation seats will be as per KVS Admission Guidelines available on the website", it added.
"The KVS Admission List 2019 for Class 2 and above will be released on April 12, 2019. Admission for Class 2 and above based on the Merit List will be done from April 12 to 20, 2019", the KVS said.
For admission and online registrations parents are advised to contact at the official website. Parents meanwhile can visit kvsangathan.nic.in in case they need any other information regarding Kendriya Vidyalaya addresses, seat availability and other admission related queries.
The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) had started registration for admission in Class 1 from March 01. Last date to apply was March 19. The KVS released the KVS First List for Class 1 on March 26, 2019. The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) has received 7,95,121 applications for more than 1 lakh seats of Class I available in 1202 Kendriya Vidyalaya across the country.
The Kendriya Vidyalayas were established with the primary aim to cater to the educational needs of the children of transferable Central Government employees including Defence and Para-Military personnel by providing a common programme of education, to pursue excellence and set pace in the field of school education and to initiate and promote experimentation and innovativeness in education in collaboration with other bodies like the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT).
