AMU Admission 2019: The Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) Exam Controller has changed and rescheduled the dates of varions Entrance Tests conducted for admission in different courses at Aligarh and outside test centres.
"Due to the Lok Sabha Elections, the Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) has revised the dates of entrance tests for admissions in various courses", Office of the Controller of Exams, AMU said in a statement.
"The B Tech and B Arch entrance tests will now take place on May 26 instead of April 28. The tests will begin from 10:00 am on the day. The B Arch paper-I is scheduled from 10:00 am and the paper-II will start from 3:00 pm", it added.
"The BA LLB entrance test will be conducted on May 27 instead of May 26 from 10:00 am", the AMU Controller of Exams said.
"The Class XI (Science)/Diploma Engineering and Class XI (Class 11 Humanities and Commerce) entrance tests are now scheduled on April 28 instead of April 21. While the Class XI (Science)/Diploma Engineering test will begin from 10:00 am on April 28, the Class XI (Humanities and Commerce) test will start from 4:00 pm on the day", it said.
Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) is a public central university, originally established by Sir Syed Ahmad Khan and his friends as Mohammedan Anglo-Oriental College in 1875. The Mohammedan Anglo-Oriental College became Aligarh Muslim University in 1920.
