Mumbai: Maharshtra State Common Entrance Test Cell in its latest notification said that 20,233 students may be debarred from appearing in MHT-CET 2019 if they do not pay the fees before March 23 without late fees and by March 31 with late fees.
According to the Maharshtra State Common Entrance Test Cell around 20,233 candidates have filled in the online application form for MHTCET 2019 but have not paid the fees. The CET cell has sent SMS to such candaidates asking them to pay the fees before the due date.
"Your MHTCET Application status is incomplete. Confirm the application and make payment. Late fee will be applicable from mid-night of 23rd March to midnight of 31st March, 2019", the SMS sent by Maharshtra State Common Entrance Test Cell said.
"All candidates desirous of applying for MHT CET 2019 should complete the online application with payment before 23rd March midnight to avoid payment of late fee", the notification said.
The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra State started receiving online application for MHT CET 2019 from January 01, 2019. The last date to apply with late fees is March 31, 2019.
MAH CET 2019, also known as MHT CET 2019 conducted for Bachelor in Engineering or Technology/Bachelor in Pharmacy, will be held between May 2 to 13, 2019. This is for the first time MHT CET 2019 will be held only in Online Mode i.e Computer Based Test (CBT).
Application Fee payable is as follows:
For General Category Candidates from Maharashtra State, Outside Maharashtra State (OMS), J & K Migrant candidates : Rs.800/- + Service Charges Candidates of Backward Class Categories [SC, ST, VJ/DT- NT(A), NT(B), NT(C), NT(D), OBC, SBC] and Persons with Disability Candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only. : Rs.600/- + Service Charges
For General Category Candidates from Maharashtra State, Outside Maharashtra State (OMS), J & K Migrant candidates : Rs.800/- + Service Charges
Candidates of Backward Class Categories [SC, ST, VJ/DT- NT(A), NT(B), NT(C), NT(D), OBC, SBC] and Persons with Disability Candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only. : Rs.600/- + Service Charges
Students should note that MHT CET 2019 application fee should be made online through Credit/Debit Card and Net-banking. Students should also note that at the time of transaction, if the amount is debited, they should not try new Application.
"Please wait for 24 hrs and try for the payment once again in the same registered email id. If the amount is not debited, you can try the payment again", the CET cell said.
Candidates should also note that applications sent by Post/Courier etc., will be rejected and no communication in this regard will be made.
"It should also be noted that no documents are required to be submitted at the stage of registration for CET. However, Candidates are advised to keep the necessary original documents ready for verification at the time of Document verification stage, during Centralized Admission Process (CAP)", the MHT CET 2019 notification said.
All the candidates passed / appearing at the qualifying examination i.e. HSC/12th Standard examination or its equivalent examination and having Indian Nationality are eligible for appearing for MHT-CET 2019. There is no age limit for admission and appearing to MHT-CET 2019.
