NASA invites application for its Internship Programs

Washington: The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) has invited applications from the local and international students for its various internship and fellowship programs.

NASA offers several opportunities for students to undertake meaningful and challenging projects that truly make an impact on humanity.

“NASA’s Office of STEM Engagement (OSTEM) paid internships allow high school and college-level students to contribute to the agency’s mission to advance science, technology, aeronautics, and space exploration”, the American Space Agency headquartered in Washington DC said.

“OSTEM internships offer students an opportunity to gain practical work experience while working side-by-side with mentors who are research scientists, engineers, and individuals from many other professions. Internships may be full time or part time; and, they may be on a NASA center or facility, or even working from your home or dorm”, NASA said.

NASA runs various internship programs for students which include pathways internship, fellowship, Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) internship and international internship.

“An internship at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory is a chance to do the impossible. Our internships put you right in the action with the scientists and engineers who’ve helped make JPL the leading center for robotic exploration of the solar system”, NASA said.

The NASA internship for which application is currently open are SMD Internship for Technical Writer, Evaluate Architecture and Protocols for Wireless Networks for Space, ASSENT: Simulating Autonomous Vehicles in the National Airspace, Range and Mission Management Office (RMMO) Business Support Intern, Virtual - Celestial Mapping System, Aeronautics at Ames Research Center Fall 2024, Balloon Program Support, Capacity Building Program Geographic Analysis, Virtual: Indigenous Peoples Initiative Outreach, Earth Observation Training, Education, and Capacity Development, Data & Analytics Intern, Design & Development of Molecular-based Laser Diagnostics, Application of Formal Methods to Autonomous Systems, Javascript Support for Web-based Aeronautics Simulations - Fall 2024, Microsoft Power Apps Developer, CAD and Experiments for a Lunar Imaging System and others.
