UGC NET December 2023 Result Date: The National Testing Agency (NTA) is set to declare the result of UGC NET December 2023 on its official website ugcnet.nta.nic.in today i.e. Wednesday January 17, 2024.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) had conducted the UGC NET 2023 from December 06 to 22, 2023.
The UGC NET Dec 2023 result was supposed to be announced on January 10, 2024. It was however delayed and will be declared today, the NTA has confirmed.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) had released the UGC NET Dec 2023 Provisional Answer Keys, along with Question Paper with recorded response, on January 03, 2024.
The NTA had given the candidates who appeared in UGC NET Dec 2023 time till 11:50 pm January 05, 2024 to raise objection in case they find any error in the official answer key.
The NTA will release the UGC NET Final Answer Key before declaring the result.
According to the UGC NET Information Brochure, the result of the entrance exam will be released on January 10, 2024.
“The December 2023 UGC NET result will be announced on January 10, 2024”, the NTA said without confirming time of the result declaration.

Candidates may be required to login and click link to check their result and UGC NET score.
"Candidates should note that there will be no re-evaluation/re-checking of result. No correspondence in this regard shall be entertained", the NTA said.
The National Testing Agency conducted UGC - NET December 2023 in 83 subjects (List is attached as Annexure – I) in 292 cities across the country for 9,45,918 candidates from 06th December 2023 to 19th December 2023.
The UGC NET is conducted twice every year (June and December) in Online Computer base Mode to determine the eligibility of candidates for the posts of Assistant Professor and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF).
Awarding of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and/ or Eligibility for Assistant Professorship depends on the aggregate performance of the candidate in Paper-I and Paper-II of UGC-NET. The candidates qualifying only for Assistant Professorship are not eligible to be considered for the award of JRF.
Candidates who qualify the eligibility test for Assistant Professorship are governed by the rules and regulations of the concerned Universities/Colleges/State Governments, as the case may be for recruitment of Assistant Professor.
