In a move which sparked nationwide outrage, Israel shared a map showing Jammu & Kashmir part of Pakistan, Northeast India in Nepal and Himachal Pradesh in China.
Israel shared the incorrect map of India to justify its “Operation Rising Lion” launched against Iran, targeting a number of locations in Tehran and other cities of the country.
“Iran is a global threat. Israel is not the end goal, it’s only the beginning. We had no other choice but to act”, Israeli Occupation Forces (IDF) wrote on social media platform X, tagging the world map.

The incorrect map shared by the Israeli Occupation Forces (IDF) on its official X handle sparked a massive outrage, with many social media users asking the Zionist regime to delete it.
The Israeli Occupation Forces (IDF) however “apologized” for the gaffe, but so far it has not deleted it.
"This post is an illustration of the region. This map fails to precisely depict borders. We apologize for any offense caused by this image", the IDF wrote while keeping the original post intact.
Interestingly, Israel did so even as "Israel and India under Modi have never seen before strong relation" so much so that the country is refusing to take side in the Zionist-Palestine conflict.
"Operation True Promise"
Meanwhile, Iran retaliated Israeli airstrikes launching supersonic ballistic missiles on Tehran, Occupied Jerusalem and other Occupied Palestinian territories currently under Zionist control.
The Iranian military operation against "Israeli aggression" codenamed "Operation True Promise III" forced Israeli PM Netanyahu to go underground and left some buildings in Tel Aviv razed to ground.
During the military escalation between the two, Iran claimed shooting down at least three F-35 fighter jets. The F-35 fighters used by the Israeli regime are considered the most advanced in their class.
Israel acquired these jets primarily from the United States, with the F-35 Lightning II being produced by Lockheed Martin, an American aerospace manufacturer. Israel is one of the few countries authorized by the U.S. to operate this cutting-edge fifth-generation stealth fighter.
"Iran has become the first country in the world to shoot down 5th-gen F-35 fighter jets belonging to Israel", the official Press TV said.
