Ejaz Ali Kazi among 36 receiving the Gallantry and Police Medals

Mumbai: Police Sub Inspector Ejaz ALi Mohammad Ali Kazi is one among the 36 police personnel who were conferred the Gallantry and Police Medals today by Maharashtra Governor K Sankaranarayanan at an Investiture Ceremony held at Raj Bhavan in Mumbai.
Among others who received the Presidents Police Medals for gallantry were given to Vijaykumar Ratnakar Kamble, Additional Director General of Police (ACB), Ashokkumar Surrindernath Sharma, Additional Director General of Police (Training and Special Squads), Vishnudev Mishra, Commissioner of Police (Nashik city) and Shivaji Dagdu Patil, Assistant Police Sub-Inspector.
The Police Medals for meritorious service were presented to 31 Police Officers and personnel, including Ankush Dhanvijay, Special Inspector General of Police and Archana Tyagi, Inspector General of Police (Industrial Security Force).
Deputy Chief Minister Chhagan Bhujbal, Home Minister R R Patil, Minister of State (Home) Ramesh Bagwe, Chief Secretary J P Dange, Director General of Police A N Roy and other high ranking serving and retired police officers and families of police persons honoured at the Investiture ceremony were present on the occasion.
