It requires hard work to crack UPSC Exams: MM Ansari

New Delhi: The Indian government Thursday declared the results of the Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2009.

The successful candidates have qualified for an interview after which they can join elite services like the Indian Administrative Service, the Indian Foreign Service and the Indian Police Service.

Over 150,000 aspirants had appeared for the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) exam after qualifying the preliminary test in 2009. The main examination was conducted in October and November, 2009.

The UPSC said the interview of the qualified candidates will start from March 22 at its headquarter in New Delhi.

“The date and time of the personality test is being intimated to the qualified candidates individually. It will also be displayed on the commission’s website from March 16,” the UPSC said in a statement.

However, the commission has said that no request for change in the date and time of the interview will be entertained.
