Thursday May 29, 2014 5:47 PM, IANS

The national capital registered the maximum number of cases of using unfair means during the CBSE Class 12 examinations, officials said Thursday.

Delhi registered 13 cases of using unfair means in 2014.

This number, however, is a decline from the 25 cases registered last year. Delhi had the maximum number of cases in 2013 as well.

At the second spot is Patna with seven cases, followed by Bhubaneshwar (six), Dehradun (five), Panchkula (five), Guwahati (three) and Chennai and Allahabad with one case each.

Allahabad had 10 cases of using unfair means registered last year, and Panchkula had 12.

Thiruvananthapuram is the only region which did not record a single case of using unfair means in both the years.

Ajmer, which registered three cases last year did not record a single incident this year.

The total number of cases of using unfair means this year is 41, as compared to the 63 registered last year.

CBSE Thursday announced the results for Delhi and Dehradun regions, and announced the results for six other regions a day earlier.
