Allahabad: Amina Khatoon of Pratibha SNIC Barabanki has scored a whopping 572 markes - just 03 marks short of the highest score in Uttar Pradesh 2017 Class X exams, to share the second rank with three other students.
Kshitu Singh, Navneet Kumar and Pragati Singh are the three students besides Amina Khatoon who scored 572 marks out of the total 600 and came second in the state, according to the UP board Class X result declared by the Allahabad board today afternoon.
Tejasvi Devi of JAI MAA SGM TC Radha Nagar, Fatehpur has topped the Uttar Pradesh Class X 2017 exams results of which are declared today afternoon. Tjesavi Devi scored 575 marks i.e. 95.83% marks to rank first in the state.
Ravti Patel and Priyanshu Verma who shared the 3rd rank scored 571 marks.
This year, the pass percentage for UP class 10 results stood at 81.6 per cent while class 12 is 82.5 per cent.
In 2016, the overall pass percentage for class 10 was 87.66 per cent, while class 12 pass percentage stood at 87.99 per cent.
The Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad, Allahabad i.e. Uttar Pradesh Board of Education declared on the board's official website upresults.nic.in the Intermediate or Class 12 (Class XII) result 2017 on Friday June 09 at 12:30 pm.
"Uttar Pradesh Board Intermediate (Class 12) Examination - 2017 Results likely to be announced on June 09, 2017 at 12.30 pm onwards", a message posted on Uttar Pradesh board result website said.
The UP board Intermediate Class XII results are accessible via official website of the Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad, Allahabad in Uttar Pradesh.

The UP Board was set up in the year 1921 at Allahabad by an act of United Provinces Legislative Council. It conducted its first examination in 1923. This Board is one in India which, from the very start, had adopted 10+2 system of examination.
The first public examination after 10 years education is High School Examination and after the 10+2 stage, there is Intermediate Examination. Prior to 1923, University of Allahabad was the examining body of these two examinations.
At present there are 9121 secondary schools recognized by the UP Board of High School and Intermediate Education.
