The Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad, Allahabad Uttar Pradesh is set to declare on its official website the High School or Class 10 (Class X) result 2017 today i.e. Friday June 09 at 12:30 pm, it is officially confirmed by the board.

"Uttar Pradesh Board High School (Class X) Examination - 2017 Results likely to be announced on June 09, 2017 at 12.30 pm onwards", a message posted on Uttar Pradesh board result website said.

The exam result portal further confirms the UP board 10th result date and time.

"Uttar Pradesh Examination Results: High School (Class X) Examination - 2017 Results.... To be announced on June 9, 2017 at 12:30 Hrs", a message posted on says.

However, students should note that a delay of 10-15 minutes is possible as result data uploading takes a lot of time.

The UP Board was set up in the year 1921 at Allahabad by an act of United Provinces Legislative Council. It conducted its first examination in 1923. This Board is one in India which, from the very start, had adopted 10+2 system of examination.

The first public examination after 10 years education is High School Examination and after the 10+2 stage, there is Intermediate Examination. Prior to 1923, University of Allahabad was the examining body of these two examinations.

At present there are 9121 secondary schools recognized by the UP Board of High School and Intermediate Education.
