Mumbai: The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) will start receiving online applications Monday June 05, 2017 onwards from the students who wish to appear for the July 2017 Supplementary/Repeaters HSC (Class12) Examination.
The state board chairman said that the online process for the exam, scheduled to begin from July 11, 2017, will start on Monday June 05, 2017. The last date of appilcation will be Wednesday June 14.
A candidate can however submit his or her application with late fees till Monday June 19.
"Students who failed to clear the papers will get another chance to appear for the exam starting July 11, 2017. The time table for the exam will be announced on June 1", Gangadhar Mhamane, Chairman, MSBSHSE said.

The examination to begin from July 11, 2017 is for those students who could not pass the Februray/March 2017 exams. But, the students who want to improve their pass percentage can also appear for this supplementary exam.
If there is any problem during the process, the candidates have been advised to contact the divisional board office.
"The supplementary exam will be conducted in July in order to save the academic year of students and the result of the respective exam will be announced next month", the board officials said earlier.
The supplementary exams for students who failed in HSC and SSC board exams were earlier conducted in September-October.
“By this time, admissions to all junior colleges are over and students have to wait until the next academic year to secure admissions,” State Education Minister Vinod Tawade said.
“This leads to a lot of pressure among students who waste an entire academic year. The SSC repeater exam worked well and over 35,000 students have benefitted.
"Hence, we have decided that from academic year 2016-17 the facility will be extended to HSC students too. It will help them to save a year and progress academically,” said Vinod Tawde.
Students will be provided career counselling and it will not be mentioned as ‘failed’ in the marksheets of these students. Instead, it will state – ‘passed for July re-exam’ or ‘passed HSC for career counselling’. Tawde said the immediate re-exam will continue every year.
The Maharashtra board declared the HSC Class 12 results on May 30, 2017. Out of the 14,29,478 students who appeared for the HSC board exams, 1,50,072 students failed. However, the average passing percentage of Maharashtra stands at 89.50 per cent.
The board while declaring the HSC 2017 results also said that students who wish to apply for rechecking can apply from today till June 09, 2017. The student who wish to obtain their answer books can do so before June 19.
