The KVS Admission 2019 3rd Merit List, if seats remain vacant, will be declared on April 23

Kendriya Vidyalaya Admission 2019 2nd List for Class 1: The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) is set to release on its website www.kvsangathan.nic.in and on KVS regional websites the KVS Admission 2nd List 2019 Class 1 today i.e. Tuesday April 09, 2019.

"Declaration of 2nd list containing names of provisionally selected candidates for admission to Class 1 will be on Apri 09, 2019", the KVS Admission Schedule 2019-20 said. Parents should note that KVS 2nd List will be released only if seats remain vacant.

"The KVS Admission 2019 3rd Merit List, if seats remain vacant, will be declared on April 23", it said. The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) had released the ast List on Marach 26.

Steps to check Kendriya Vidyalaya Admission 2nd List 2019

Go to KVS Regional website (eg): kvvayusenanagar.edu.in.
Click on the tab Admission onthe home page.
The KVS Admission List 2019 in PDF will be displayed.
Alternatively, you can also login and check admission status.
The KVS list in PDF can also be downloaded from KVS Main website.

The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) 2nd list for KVS Class 1 admission after release can be downloaded from Regional websites.

Admission registration for Kendriya Vidyalaya Class I for the academic year 2019-20 was started from Friday March 01, 2019. The last date to apply was March 19, 2019. The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) said it has received 7,95,121 applications for more than 1L seats of Class I available in 1202 Kendriya Vidyalaya across the country.

KVS Admission for Class II and above registration began on April 02, 2019. The last date to apply for Class II and above is today i.e. April 09, the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) said.

The Kendriya Vidyalayas, currently about 1200 across India, were established with the primary aim to cater to the educational needs of the children of transferable Central Government employees including Defence and Para-Military personnel by providing a common programme of education, to pursue excellence and set pace in the field of school education and to initiate and promote experimentation and innovativeness in education in collaboration with other bodies like the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT).

Age Limit

A Child must be 5 years old as on 31st March in the academic year in which admission is sought for Class I. (Child born on 1st April should also be considered.)

"The maximum age limit can be relaxed by two years in case of Differently abled children by the Principal", the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) said.

"There is no age restriction for admission to Class XI provided the student is seeking admission in the year of passing Class X examination. Similarly, there will be no upper & lower age limit for admission to class XII provided there has been no break in the continuous study of the student after passing class XI", it added.

Reservation in KVS Admission

"15% seats for Scheduled Caste and 7.5% seats for Scheduled Tribes shall be reserved in all fresh admissions in all Kendriya Vidyalayas", KVS said.

"3% seats of total available seats for fresh admission will be horizontally reserved for Differently Abled-children as per the provisions of RTE Act, 2009 read in conjunction with Persons with Disabilities (Equal Opportunities, Protection of Rights and Full Participation) Act, 1995", it added.

"60 admissions in Kendriya Vidyalayas located anywhere in India and 15 admissions in hostels of Kendriya Vidyalayas, would be granted to employees of Ministry of External Affairs each year, by orders of KVS (HQ)", it said.

"15 children of the employees of the Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) would be admitted on orders to be issued by the KVS Hqrs. Of these, a maximum of 5 seats would be given in Delhi and the remaining would be outside Delhi. (upto 30th June)", it added.

"05 seats in each section of class I, within the approved class strength (40) will be filled by the children of Sponsoring Agency in all schools except those specifically notified otherwise by the Commissioner", it said.
