
New Delhi: The Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) in an official statement released on its website said that it will declare the results of the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) Class X and Indian School Certificate (ISC) Class XII exams on its official website Monday May 29, 2017 at 03:00 pm.
"The results of Class X (ICSE) and Class XII (ISC) year 2017 will be declared on Monday May 28, 2017 at 03:00 pm", the CISCE said in the official statement.
The results of Class X (ICSE) and Class XII (ISC) year 2017 will be available through Careers Portal of the Council, the website of the council and also through SMS, the statement added.
How to check ICSE Class X Results 2017

- When a new window opens, the candidates have to go to "Reports" and then on "Results" tab to check their scores.
- The candidates should take a print out of the scorecard for future reference.

The results will also be available via SMS. To receive the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) Class X results by SMS, the candidate will require to type ICSE followed by their seven digit unique ID code and send the message to 09248082883.
The results of the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) Class 10 exams held in 2017 have been delayed because the paper evaluation process is still underway. The process got delayed because the 2017 exams were held late due to the assembly elections in five states, a CISCE official had said earlier in the last week.
The CISCE official had also said that the ICSE Class X result declaration date will be announced a week in advance.
"An update regarding result declaration will be posted on the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) website in advance", Gerry Arathoon, CISCE chief executive, said while talking to media on May 15.
He had said evaluation of papers is still going on and the council will take another 10 days to finalise the results.
The ICSE 2017 Class X exam was delayed after the Election Commission of India declared elections to five assemblies Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Goa and Manipur. Due to this, the exam which was supposed to begin on 27 February was rescheduled for 10 March. Likewise the last date of the exam shifted and the exam concluded on 21 April.
A total of 176327 students had registered for the exam this year.
This year, the board conducted the ICSE examination from March 10 to April 21 at various test centres. A total of 2,50,871 students were registered for the examinations this year with 1,76,327 candidates registered for the ICSE and 74,544 for ISC examinations in 2017.
In 2016 the results for ICSE and ISC exams both were declared on May 06. The overall pass percentage in 2016 for ICSE was 98.54% while the pass percentage for ISC was 96.56%.
