New Delhi: The Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) is set to declare online the results of the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) Class X and Indian School Certificate (ISC) Class XII exams on its official and associate websites today i.e. Monday May 29, 2017 at 03:00 pm.
The results of Class X (ICSE) and Class XII (ISC) year 2017 will also be available through Careers Portal of the Council, the website of the council and also through SMS, the statement added.
How to check ICSE Class X Results 2017

- Click on the live link marked with 'ICSE'.
- Enter your Unique ID and CAPTCHA exactly as you see in the box
- Click on Submit button
How to check ISC Class XII Results 2017

- Enter your Unique ID and CAPTCHA exactly as you see in the box
- Click on Submit button
The results will also be available via SMS. To receive the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) Class X results by SMS, the candidate will require to type ICSE followed by their seven digit Unique ID code and send the message to 09248082883.
This is for the first time that the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CICSE) has offered DigiLocker facility to its affiliated schools to store digitally signed certificates and marksheets. The CICSE has also made a provision for candidates to apply for rechecking of marks.
The ICSE 2017 Class X exam was delayed after the Election Commission of India declared elections to five assemblies Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Goa and Manipur. Due to this, the exam which was supposed to begin on 27 February was rescheduled for 10 March. Likewise the last date of the exam shifted and the exam concluded on 21 April.
A total of 176327 students had registered for the exam this year.
This year, the board conducted the ICSE examination from March 10 to April 21 at various test centres. A total of 2,50,871 students were registered for the examinations this year with 1,76,327 candidates registered for the ICSE and 74,544 for ISC examinations in 2017.
In 2016 the results for ICSE and ISC exams both were declared on May 06. The overall pass percentage in 2016 for ICSE was 98.54% while the pass percentage for ISC was 96.56%.
