JEE Advanced 2020: IIT Delhi, the examination conducting authority, has on Friday March 06 published on JEE Advanced 2020 official website www.jeeadv.ac.in the Information Brochure of the important exam held after JEE Main.
The IIT Delhi had earlier said that it will conduct JEE Advanced 2020 on Sunday May 17 in two session. While Paper I will be held on May 17, 2020 from 09:00 am to 12:00 pm, JEE Advanced 2020 Paper 2 will be held from 14:30 to 17:30 on the same day.
The IIT Delhi had later also released the past question papers of JEE Advanced so that the candidates become familiar with the syllabus and exam pattern.
To further help the candidates who will appear for JEE Advanced 2020, IIT Delhi had provided facility of Online Mock Test. The facility is available on JEE Advanced website since January 16, 2020.
The JEE Advanced Information Brochure published by IIT Delhi Friday is in high quality PDF file containing 89 pages. It is divided in 03 Parts followed by 05 Annexures.
Part I deals with introduction and talks about Institutes, Academic Program, Reservation of seats, Defence Service candidates, Foreign Nationals, Supernumerary seats for female candidates and about other institutes.
Candidates should also note that the IIT Delhi had earlier published separate eligibility criteria for Foreign nationals appearing for JEE Advanced 2020.
Part II of JEE Advanced Information Brochure is dedicated to JEE Advanced Schedule, Registration process, Admit Card, Question Pattern, Mode of Examination, Exam Centres, Transmission of Candidates Response Sheet and Answer Keys, JEE Avanced Rank Lists, JEE Advanced Result and Architecture Aptitude Test for B. Arch Program.
Part III of JEE Advanced Information Brochure explains Admission, counselling, joint seat allocation and about preparatory courses. It also talks about the list of courses offered by IITs and important dates.
In Annexures, candidates can find subjectwise syllabus of Chemistry, Maths, Physics and also of Architecture Aptitude Test for B. Arch.

The JEE (Advanced) 2020 will be held for the first time in the US also. For this, an examination centre will be set up in San Francisco. With this, JEE exam will now be conducted in five countries worldwide
The National Testing Agency (NTA) organises JEE (Main) while IIT Delhi will organise JEE (Advanced) under the guidance of IIT Joint Admission Board (JAB). The Board has decided to shortlist 2.5 lakh students including all categories from JEE (Main) 2020 to appear for JEE (Advanced) 2020.
