Beersheba (Israel): Tech giant Microsoft saved its offices in Beersheba (Be’er Sheva) in Southern Israel from the Iranian missile attack Friday June 20, 2025 by a whisker.
Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Friday June 20, 2025 targeted Microsoft offices in Beersheba (Be’er Sheva) accusing the tech giant of providing tech supports to Israel.
Microsoft has earlier also been accused by its own employees of aiding the genocide of Palestinians in Gaza by the Israeli Occupation Forces (IDF).
On Friday, Iran’s IRGC fired a lone missile targeted at the Microsoft headquarters in Beersheba.
Ostensibly, the Israeli air defence system, Iron Dome or Arrow 3, failed to intercept the lone missile fired into its territory.
The missile however missed its intended target, and instead hit a building near Beersheba Tech Park which also houses Microsoft office.
“One missile was fired from Iran in the attack, which was not intercepted by air defenses”, an Israel Defense Forces official told The Times of Israel.
More details about the damages are not available as Israel has banned journalists and TV crews from reporting from the affected areas.
Beer Sheva is in the Negev desert, where Israel’s Nevatim airbase is located.

A video released by Israel’s emergency services agency, Magen David Adom (MDA), showed several fires burning in a street in the southern city, according to CNN.
Pictures provided by MDA show extensive damage to the front of a building, as well as burning cars sending pyres of thick black smoke into the air, the report added.
Some videos shared online show heavy smoke billowing over an unknown target in Be'er Sheva.
Multiple buildings in the area can also be seen with visible damage, according to Tehran Times.
Iran’s Revolutionary Guards in statement claimed the responsibility of the attack, saying that Microsoft’s offices in Be’er Sheva were deliberately targeted due to what they described as “close collaboration with the Israeli military.”
The Iranian missile attack at Beersheba Tech Park was carried Friday morning. However, reports of blasts and siren rounds were heard in Central Israel Friday afternoon, according to Jerusalem Post.
The full scale war between Iran and Israel started last Friday June 13, 2025 when the latter attacked the former unprovoked, killing senior commander and nuclear scientists.
Iran retaliated the next day targeting Israeli military targets in Tel Aviv, Haifa and other cities. Israel came out with the reason that Iran is making nuclear weapons, the allegation denied by Iran as well as International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).
As per the latest update, over 600 people have been killed in Iran in the eight days of war so far while the death toll in Israel according to unofficial sources is close to 100. The confirmed figure of Israeli casualties is unknown as the Zionist regime as a policy hides its actual losses.
