Milla Magee, Miss England 2024, has quit the Miss World 2025 Contest currently underway in Hyderabad, Telangana, and left India for the United Kingdom.

And, the reasons behind her decision to quit the world’s most famous beauty pageant she revealed to the British tabloid The Sun are shocking.

“I felt like a prostitute. We had to sit like performing monkeys. I didn’t come here to be farmed out for entertainment”, she told the fashion magazine.

The Miss World Contest 2025 was opened on May 07 and will continue till May 31, 2025. The venue of the competition is the fabled Chowmohalla Palace, a private property of the Nizams of Hyderabad.

Milla Magee arrived in Hyderabad on May 7. She ended her participation in the global beauty competition mid-way and returned to UK on May 16, 2025.

“I went there to make a difference but we had to sit like performing monkeys”, she said.

Milla said she decided to take a stand after being paraded in front of wealthy male sponsors.

"Farmed out for entertainment"

It was earlier reported that Milla decided to exit from the Miss World Contest 2025 – a first in its 74 years of history, due to “personal reasons”.

However, talking to The Sun in an exclusive interview, Milla now said she “felt like a prostitute” and was “farmed out for entertainment” by Miss World organisers.

Milla, whose campaigning has been supported by Prince William, said, “The point was to do good, promote change and make a difference. But it became obvious that just wasn’t going to happen.”

The British Beauty Queesn also said the organizers asked contestants to entertain middle-aged men as a “thank you” for money they put into the show.

“There were two girls to each table of six guests. We were expected to sit with them for the whole evening and entertain them as a thank you”, she told The Sun.

Interestingly, Milla Magee was very excited upon arrival in India. She even thanked the organisers for the warm welcome.

"Thank you for the warmed welcome this morning to your beautiful country. I am so excited to indulge in the rich culture, explore breathtaking landmarks, and meet the warm-hearted people of Telegana, India and share this experience with my Miss World sisters", she wrote on Instagram on May 7 tagging Telangana Tourism Department.

The Brit Miss World Contestnant with this post tagged an image of her seen with folded hands and sporting a bindi in line with the Indian culture.

Meanwhile, Miss Liverpool - Charlotte Gran, has replaced Milla Magee to represent England in the final round of the Miss World Contest Hyderabad.
