JoSAA 2025 Schedule Out: Important Dates

JoSAA 2025: The Joint Seat Allocation Authority has launched JoSAA official website (josaa.nic.in) and also published the important dates of the important counselling process and seat allocation schedule based on JEE Advanced 2025 score.

According to the "JoSAA counselling schedule 2025", online registration and choice filling will start from June 03, 2025 – a day after JEE Advanced 2025 result is schedule to be declared. Last date of application and choice filling is June 12, 2025.

JoSAA 2025 Seat Allocation Schedule

There will be a total of six rounds of "JoSAA Counselling" for admission to 114 institutes for the academic year 2025-26. This includes 23 IITs, 31 NITs, IIEST Shibpur, 26 IIITs and 47 Other-Government Funded Technical Institutes (Other-GFTIs).

“Admission to all the academic programs offered by these Institutes will be made through a single platform”, JoSAA said in the notification.

Joint Seat Allocation Authority will publish the Round 1 Seat Allocation result on June 14, Round 2 Result will be declared on June 21, Round 3 Result on June 28, Round 4 Result on July 04, Round 5 Result on July 10 whereas the result of the Round 6 and Final Round of JoSAA 2025 counselling will be published on July 16, as per the JoSAA Schedule 2025.

Before the declaration of "JoSAA Round 1 allotment result", there will be two rounds of Mock Seat Allocation – result of first mock allocation will be declared on June 9 and that of second will be out on June 11, 2025.

JoSAA 2025 Important Dates

• JoSAA Online Registration start date and choice filling: June 03, 2025
• Display of Mock Seat Allocation-1 based on the choices filled-in by candidates as on June 08, 2025, 17:00 IST: June 09, 2025
• Display of Mock Seat Allocation-2 based on the choices filled-in by candidates as on June 10, 2025, 17:00 IST: June 11, 2025
• Last date of JoSAA registration and choice filling: June 12, 2025
• Seat Allocation (Round 1): June 14, 2025
• Online reporting: Fee payment /document upload /response by candidate to query (if required) (Round 1): June 14 to 18, 2025.
• Seat Allocation (Round 2): June 21, 2025
• Online reporting: Fee payment /document upload /response by candidate to query (if required) (Round 2): June 21 to 25, 2025
• Seat Allocation (Round 3): June 28, 2025
• Seat Allocation (Round 4): July 04, 2025
• Seat Allocation (Round 5): July 10, 2025
• Seat Allocation (Round 6): July 16, 2025

The Joint Seat Allocation Authority will conduct JoSAA counselling after the JEE Advanced 2025 result is declared on June 02, 2025.
