Raipur: Officially Confirmed. The Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CGBSE) has confirmed that the results of the CGBSE Class 12 or Higher Secondary Examinations 2017 will be declared on Friday April 28, according to IndiaResults.
The results of both Regular and Vocational Chhattisgarh baord Class 12 exams will be declared on Friday April 28.
The results will be expected to go live at around 09:00 am on Friday April 28.
"Higher Secondary (Class 12th) Exam Result 2017 To Be Declare On 28th April 2017", IndiaResults said in a statement.
"Higher Secondary (Class 12th) Vocational Exam Result 2017 Will Also Be Declare On 28th April 2017", it added.
The Chhattisgarh board had announced the results of Class 10 exam on Friday April, 21.
Earlier there were wild speculations that CG board Class 12 results would also be declared on the same day. The CG Board had declared the Class 12 results of 2016 on April 21.
The Chhattisgarh board however delayed the result declaration of Class 12 by a week and it will now be declared on April 28.
Once declared, the CG Board Class 12 results will be online on the board's official as well as its associate websites. Students can follow the steps given as under to check their results.
How to check the results:
- Go to the official website: "cgbse.nic.in" or IndiaResults.com
- Click on the link, 'Class 12 Results 2017'
- Enter your roll number
- After submitting the same, the results will be displayed on the screen
- Take a printout for future use
The 2017 CG Board Class 12 exam was held from 14th February to 9th March. More than 2.7 lakh students had appeared for the important exam.
In 2016, overall pass percent of CG Board Class 12 was 73.43%. The pass percentage of girl students was 75.83% and that of boys was 71.19%. A total of 2,77,114 students had written the CG Board Class 12 exam in 2016.
Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CGBSE) is responsible for conducting the board exams in the state. The Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education conducts High School, Higher Secondary Board, Higher Secondary School (Occupational), Physical Training Diploma and D.Ed. certification exams.
CGBSE also advised and help government for the construction of the proposed curriculum and textbooks prescribed by the board. It also advises the government in framing the education policy of the state and it also runs different correspondence courses under its guidance.
