New Delhi: The Admit Cards/Hall Tickets for the National Entrance Screening Test (NEST) 2017 have been released on Monday. Candidates who have registered for this examination can download their Admit Cards/Hall Tickets from the official website of NEST.
NEST 2017 will be held on May 27, 2017 from 10 am to 1 pm. The question paper will be divided into five parts, including the General Section, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology. The results for the same would likely be declared on June 16, 2017.
Candidates who clear this paper will gain admission to National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER) in Bhubaneswar and Department of Atomic Energy Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences (UM-DAE CEBS) of University of Mumbai.
The candidates who have registered for NEST 2017 can follow the steps given as under to Download their Admit Cards. They should immediately report in case of any error or mistake in their Admit Cards/Hall Tickets.
How to download the NEST 2017 Admit Cards/Hall Tickets:
- Go to the official website "nestexam.in"
- Click on the link to “Download admit card”
- Enter your Registration Number, NEST Password and the “Secret Code” provided
- Click on “Login”
- Download the Admit Card/Hall Ticket and take a print out
National Entrance Screening Test (NEST) is a compulsory test for students seeking admission to National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER) Bhubaneswar and University of Mumbai - Department of Atomic Energy Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences (UM-DAE CEBS), Mumbai. Both NISER and UM-DAE CEBS were set up by Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India in 2007.
Their mandate is to train scientific manpower for carrying out cutting edge scientific research and for providing input to scientific programmes of Department of Atomic Energy and other applied science institutions in the country. NEST 2017 will be conducted in 60 cities [see list] (124 venues) across India. The brochure gives the detailed procedure for applying for the test, syllabus of the test and various dead lines.
NISER, Bhubaneswar and UM-DAE CEBS, Mumbai are in compliance with the UGC and Govt. of India guidelines on anti-ragging.
