New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has not released yet any official notification confirming the exact date to declare the CBSE Class X results 2017. It is hence certain that the CBSE Class X results 2017 will not be declared today i.e. Friday June 02 as being widely claimed.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has a tradition to release official statement to press at least a day in advance regarding the exact date and time of Class X result declaration. However as expected the board did not issue any statement which could have confirmed the CBSE Class X results will be decalred today.
In the absence of official CBSE notification students who appeared for the March 2017 Class X exams should note that their results would not be declared today.
However some other reports citing CBSE officials claimed that the CBSE Class X results are most likely to ve declared on Saturday June 03, 2017.
Students should note that if the CBSE Class X results are being declared on Saturday, even in this case, the CBSE will release an official notification, and ummid.com as always will be the first to publish the latest news regarding CBSE Class X results 2017 exact release date on this page.
The board will declare the results on its official website, the link for which is www.cbse.nic.in and www.cbseresults.nic.in.
Students, who appeared in the Class 10 CBSE board exams, can check their results on the official website. The following are the steps they should take to check the results:
- Firstly, the candidates should log on to the website and click on the live link CBSE Class 10 board exam results 2017
- In the new window that opens, the candidates should fill in the requisite details such as registration number, name
- After filling the details, press the button to submit
- The results would appear on the screen
- Take a print out of the same for future reference.
The CBSE declared the Class XII results on Sunday May 28, 2017.
According to the Date Sheet released on the CBSE website, Class X and Class XII both exams began together on March 09, 2017. But, while the Class X exam ended on April 10, the Class XII 2017 exam continued till April 29.
This year's CBSE Class 12 and Class 10 exams were delayed because of the assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Goa and Manipur.
An estimated 10,98,981 and 8,86,506 students from across the country and abroad respectively appeared for the Class XII and Class X annual exams which began from Thursday March 09, 2017. The exams are conducted every year by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).
According to the data released by registration for the Class 12 exams saw a 2.82% increase whereas the registration for the Class 10 exams witnessed an increase of 15.73% as compared to the last year.
The examination for Class X were conducted at 16,363 centres across the country. Students appeared for Class XII examination at 10,678 centres in India.
Fifty-eight examination centres were set up in some Gulf countries and six in various other countries.
In a first, the CBSE board had launched a mobile application to help students locate their examination centre using their phone numbers.
In another first, students diagnosed with Type-I diabetes were for the first time allowed to carry food items inside the examination hall to maintain their sugar levels and avoid medical complications.
