In yet another impressive performance, 23 of the total 25 students of Rahmani 30 Patna and 11 of the 15 students of Anjuman-e-Islam Rahmani 30 Mumbai who got free coaching under the Rahmani Excellence Program of Rahmani Foundation have cracked the JEE Advanced 2017.

"The result of one student is showing some error. We are sure he has also cracked the JEE Advanced along with 23 of the Rahmani 30 Patna students", Fahad Rahmani, Chief Excellence Officer, Rahmani 30, said while talking to ummid.com on phone.

Launched in 2009 on the pattern of Super 30 by Syed Mohammad Wali Rahmani with the support of former Bihar DGP Abhyanand, Rahmani Foundation is running free coaching classes for poor students of the Muslim community.

In 2016, 50 students of Rahmani 30 had made it to various IITs - India's premium institutions. So far a total of 138 students have cracked IIT JEE under the Rahmani Excellence Program of Rahmani Foundation running since 2009.

The propgram was first launched in Patna and later extended to the cities like Mumbai and Hyderabad.

The JEE Advanced 2017 results were declared by IIT Madras today morning.

Sarvesh Mehtani from Panchkula, Chandigarh secured first all-India rank in IIT- Joint Entrance Exam. He had got AIR 55 in JEE Mains.

Sarvesh, who wrote the exam from IIT Roorkee zone, scored 339 marks out of 366, in which he got 120 marks in Maths, 104 in Physics and 115 marks in Chemistry. He was ranked 55th in JEE Main entrance examination.

Pune's Akshat Chugh, who was ranked 7th in JEE Main 2017, had ranked second in JEE Advanced All India Ranking.

Rachit Bansal, another student of Chandigarh, has secured 9th AIR in JEE Advanced.

Elsewhere in the country, Debaditya Pramanik from Kolkata’s Birla High School, who bagged the first position in the West Bengal JEE examinations this year and also emerged as the topper from West Bengal in the CBSE (Class XII), has been declared the eastern region topper. He secured All India Rank 38th.

Suraj Yadav from Haryana’s Mahendragarh is the All India 5th rank holder. Yadav did his coaching at an institute in Kota.

The IIT Madras declared online the result of JEE Advanced 2017 Paper 1 and Paper 2 both today i.e. Sunday June 11 at 10:00 am. The Jee Advanced result are now online and students can accsess them at "results.jeeadv.ac.in".

Only candidates who scored the minimum prescribed marks in each subject and in aggregate are included in the rank list.

According the JEE Advanced organisors, the minimum prescribed mark varies with the category as shown in the following table:JEE Advanced CRL

IIT Madras declared the JEE Advanced result today morning and also said those students who took the IIT JEE Advanced 2017 exam may get 11 bonus marks for three ambiguous questions. This would be applicable to all candidates who took the examination on May 21.

The decision to award 11 bonus marks for the three ambiguous questions was taken following an internal review meet on the question papers by IIT experts.

Conducted by Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras and other IITs, the JEE Advanced 2017 was held on Sunday May 21. More than 1.7 lakh students appeared for the JEE Advanced 2017 held at more than 500 centres in the country on Sunday.

Top 2.2 lakh candidates from JEE (M) were selected for the Advanced test, of which nearly 1.71lakh registered for the exam.

The examination consisted of two papers, Paper 1 and Paper 2, each of three hours duration and will be held as per the following schedule:

  • Paper-1 Sunday 21-May-2017 09:00 to 12:00 IST
  • Paper-2 Sunda y 21-May-2017 14:00 to 17:00 IST

JEE Advanced is the entrance test for admission to IITs spread across India and located in Bhubaneswar, Bombay, Delhi,Gandhinagar, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Indore, Jodhpur, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Mandi, Madras, Palakkad, Patna, Ropar, Roorkee, Tirupati, Banaras Hindu University (IIT-BHU) Varanasi and Indian School of Mines (ISM) Dhanbad for the academic session 2017.

The performance of a candidate in this examination will form the basis for admission to the Bachelor’s, Integrated Master’s and Dual Degree programs (entry at the 10+2 level) in all the IITs. The decisions of the JAB 2017 will be final in all matters related to JEE (Advanced) 2017 and admission to IITs.
