New Delhi: The Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has declared online the results of the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) Class X and Indian School Certificate (ISC) Class XII exams on its official and associate websites today at 03:00 pm.
If a candidate is not satisfied with his or her scorecard, he or she can request for recheck of the subject grades awarded to them. The candidates who took the current year’s the ICSE/ISC Examination can only request for rechecking and a request should be submitted to the Council online.
Follow the steps given as under:
- Recheck is a Paid Service. For each recheck, Schools / candidates will be required to pay the charges (as prescribed by the Council from time to time), which shall be made online. The charges to be paid for the recheck is Rs.1000/- (Rupees one thousand only) per subject per candidate, for the current year of Examination.
- The Online Recheck portal will be available for 7 days from the date of declaration of results.
- The accuracy of a subject grade awarded will be checked on request, in one or more subjects, provided that the Head of the School / candidate submits the application online.
- Applications for recheck must be submitted online and must be received at the Council’s office within the stipulated time. (The exact dates will be notified by the Council at the time of declaration of the results.)
- The recheck will be restricted to checking whether: –
- All the answers have been marked,
- There has been a mistake in the totalling of marks for each question in the subject and transferring the marks correctly onto the first cover page of the answer booklet,
- The continuation sheets attached to the answer booklet, as mentioned by the candidate, are intact.
- No other re-evaluation of the answer script or other work done by the candidate as part of the examination will be carried out.
- No candidate, person or organisation shall be entitled to claim re-evaluation or disclosure or inspection of the answer scripts or copies of it and other documents as these are treated as most confidential by the Council.
Candidates can click here to check their results at cisce.examresults.net, select ICSE or ISC, enter Unique ID and CAPTCHA exactly as you see in the box and click on "Print Result" or "Show Result" button.
The results of Class X (ICSE) and Class XII (ISC) year 2017 are available through Careers Portal of the Council, the website of the council and also through SMS, the statement added.

- Click on the live link marked with 'ICSE'.
- Enter your Unique ID and CAPTCHA exactly as you see in the box
- Click on Submit button
How to check ISC Class XII Results 2017
- Click on the "Result 2017" on council's website: cisce.org
- Click on the live link marked with 'ISC'.
- Enter your Unique ID and CAPTCHA exactly as you see in the box
- Click on Submit button
The results will also be available via SMS. To receive the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) Class X results by SMS, the candidate will require to type ICSE followed by their seven digit Unique ID code and send the message to 09248082883.
This is for the first time that the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CICSE) has offered DigiLocker facility to its affiliated schools to store digitally signed certificates and marksheets. The CICSE has also made a provision for candidates to apply for rechecking of marks.
The ICSE 2017 Class X exam was delayed after the Election Commission of India declared elections to five assemblies Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Goa and Manipur. Due to this, the exam which was supposed to begin on 27 February was rescheduled for 10 March. Likewise the last date of the exam shifted and the exam concluded on 21 April.
A total of 176327 students had registered for the exam this year.
This year, the board conducted the ICSE examination from March 10 to April 21 at various test centres. A total of 2,50,871 students were registered for the examinations this year with 1,76,327 candidates registered for the ICSE and 74,544 for ISC examinations in 2017.
In 2016 the results for ICSE and ISC exams both were declared on May 06. The overall pass percentage in 2016 for ICSE was 98.54% while the pass percentage for ISC was 96.56%.
