Mumbai: The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) will declare on Tuesday i.e. May 30, 2017 the results of the Maharashtra HSC (also known as Class XII and Class 12 HSC) 2017 exams, it is officially announced by the MSBSHSE today afternoon.
In an official notification issues today the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) said that the results will be declared Tuesday May 30 at 01:00 pm.
The board declares the results online on www.mahresult.nic.in. Results are also available on some other websites including the board's mirror sites like result.mkcl.org.
The other websites where the Maharashtra HSC 2017 results can be accessed are http://mh-hsc.ac.in and http://msbshse.ac.in.
The students need to enter their exam seat number and date of birth to see their results. The students will also be able to take the printout from the website.
The Printed Marksheet will be given to students later on at the respective schools.
The students can also request their results through SMS. For this, they are required to type MHHSC followed by <seat no> on their mobile phones and send to: 57766.
The class 12 exams were conducted from February 28 and concluded on March 25, while the class 10 exams were held from March 7 and ended on April 1. According to some reports, Maharashtra SSC Class 10 results 2017 would be declared in June first week.
Last year the Maharashtra board MSBSHSE had declared the HSC 2016 results on May 25. Accordingly, there were wild speculations in the media that the Maharashtra HSC 2017 results would be declared on Thursday May 25.
All speculations were proved wrong when the board did not declare the result on Thursday May, 25. But, there was heavy rush of students on internet to check their result as some news portals had published reports saying that the Maharashtra HSC 2017 results have been declared.
The Maharashtra 12th results are announced for over 13 lakh students and it decides in which stream a student will pursue his/her higher education at university level.
The board also has a unique online system for verification of scorecards. Called eMarkSheet, it is a web portal for online verification of statement of marks as well as certificate for SSC (10th) & HSC (12th) for seamless delivery of information/services to its stakeholder like students, colleges, employers etc. in the state of Maharashtra.
The Highre Secondary Certificate Examination (HSC) is conducted by the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) during the month of February and March through its nine Divisional Boards, which are primarily located at Pune, Mumbai, Nashik, Aurangabad, Kolhapur, Latur, Nagpu, Amravati and Ratnagiri.
